Dr. Jack B. Dalton  received his DVM in 1990 from Ross University in the West Indies.  His veterinary experience ranges from working at a high-volume, multi-doctor practice on Long Island, to serving as a Veterinary Medical Officer with the United States Department of Agriculture to being the sole doctor at a small Hudon Valley animal clinic.  He is a ASCP certified Cytotechnologist, trained at the New York University School of Medicine.  Dr. Dalton attended Bard College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology.  While attending college there, Dr. Dalton developed a great affection for the Hudson Valley area and is very pleased to open his first practice here. 

Dr. Gilbert F. Hoppenstedt established the Hoppenstedt Animal Hospital of Kingston in the year 1945.  He has served the veterinary community with distinction and we are proud to have an association with such a doctor.  Dr. Hoppenstedt will be available for limited appointments, as his golfing schedule permits.

STAFF

Nanette Dalton is the practice manager, receptionist and veterinary assistant at our hospital.  She attended the University of Detroit where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. You may also see Nanette performing on stage with  Rhinebeck Theatre Society.
